Introducing the ridger, also known as a tiller – an indispensable agricultural tool for inter-row cultivation of plants growing in ridges. The tractor ridger, also known as a weeder, is a multifunctional crop care device that is useful for weeding, ridging rows, and loosening inter-row soil.
Application of a tractor ridger
The ridger is ideal for cultivating crops such as potatoes, corn, beets, beans, tomatoes, lettuce, strawberries, sunflowers, and tobacco. To rid the potatoes, the machine must be equipped with an additional element – a knurl. The ridger's characteristic body is triangular in shape with upwardly curved edges, called a coulter, which can be adjusted in angle and depth to suit growing conditions.
